In my line of work I come across all-inclusive resorts on a daily basis. I find them to be an extremely economical way to travel. These resorts are most often 5 star resorts, in some of the most stunning locations, that scream romance. My favorites change often, but here are the top 5 resorts that I am LOVING right now...
1) Excellence Punta Cana
This adults only resort is not only breathtaking but it's so incredibly budget friendly that I often have to double check that I put in the correct length of stay. This resort features 12 restaurants, 8 bars with even more options if you stay in an Excellence club level suite. And to top it all off their Miile Spa is to die for!
2) Sandals Regency La Tac Golf Resort & Spa- St. Lucia
I'm a huge fan of the Sandals brand and like all Sandals resorts, this one does not disappoint! Even if golf is not your thing, this resort will be! The stunning location of St. Lucia on top of all the luxury accommodations that Sandals is known for makes this resort the best of the best for me.
3) Royalton Antigua
This resort had me at overwater bungalow! Are you kidding me right now?! While the bungalows are a bit of a financial stretch, the rest of the resort does offer more affordable luxury that you wont be mad about.
4) Finest Playa Mujeres-Mexico
This classy resort really has it all! Amazing accommodations, pristine beaches, gorgeous pools, 15 restaurants (including a fun food truck), tons of bars and lounges, nightly entertainment and a splurge worthy spa. So, so good!
5) Last but certainly not least..... Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica
This resort is AMAZING! Plus...COSTA RICA! Go there...NOW! And be sure to bring a little extra money to take part in some of their off resort excursions. You will for sure make memories that will last a lifetime!
